Dolce&Gabbana will drop animal furs from 2022

Dolce&Gabbana announced on Monday that from this year it will no longer use animal fur in all of its collections and will switch to eco-friendly faux fur. The Milan fashion house joins other luxury brands, including Armani, Gucci, Prada and Moncler, in adhering to the guidelines of the Fur Free Alliance, a network of animal rights groups around the world. “Dolce&Gabbana is working towards a more sustainable future that cannot consider the use of animal fur,” said Fedele Usai, Dolce&Gabbana’s communications and marketing officer, in a statement.
