Pet shop Minot celebrates grand opening

A new Minot pet store is celebrating its grand opening this weekend, welcoming new customers and wagging its tail in its doors.

Pet Supplies Plus opened its doors in mid-December but held the ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony to meet the community.

There were free self-washing and grooming appointments and sweepstakes.

The store manager says the company will also work with animal rescues in the area to facilitate cat adoptions and other community-based events.

“We’re actually going to partner on that in mid-February, so we’re looking forward to actually doing that, and then we’ll have – what we have over there, so we’ll do some different sponsorships with that as well,” said store team leader Helen Gotvaslee.

The shop is open seven days a week from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 9pm and on Sunday from 10am to 6pm on-line Curbside shopping and pickup available.
