Nick Baer joins Stonehill Strategic Capital in Atlanta as Vice President of Business Development

Stonehill announced that it has appointed Nick Baer to the newly created position of vice president of business development. Baer is responsible for sourcing and structuring debt and equity investments through Stonehill’s hospitality lending platform and helps drive its strategic growth efforts. He will report to Stonehill Executive Vice President Brent LeBlanc.

Baer most recently served as senior vice president at Jones Land LaSalle (JLL) with responsibility for managing approximately $7 billion in acquisitions, construction and refinancing of individual hotel properties and portfolios. Prior to joining the investment banking team, Baer was responsible for the sale of individual assets and portfolios for JLL’s hotel investment sales department.

Baer earned his bachelor’s degree in real estate from the University of Georgia.
