Gasoline and diesel prices rose on Tuesday. Petrol approaches Rs 98 in Delhi

Gasoline and diesel prices today: PGasoline and diesel prices were increased in subways on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, according to information provided by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). In New Delhi, gasoline prices were increased by 28 paise from Rs 97.22 per liter to Rs 97.50 per liter and diesel prices were increased by 26 paise from Rs 87.97 per liter at Rs 88.23 per liter. In Mumbai, revised gasoline prices were Rs 103.63 per liter and diesel was Rs 95.72 per liter. Fuel tariffs vary from state to state in India due to value added tax. Here are the latest gasoline and diesel prices in the four metropolitan cities:

State-run oil marketing companies – IOC, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum align heating oil rates with those of world crude oil prices taking into account any changes in exchange rates. Any changes in fuel prices are implemented from 6 am every day.

Meanwhile, crude fell on Tuesday as investors took advantage of a recent rally, but market sentiment remained strong over hopes of a rapid recovery in oil demand in the US and European markets and on the easing of expectations of a rapid return of Iranian crude.

Brent crude futures for August were down 10 cents, or 0.1%, to $ 74.80 a barrel and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for July was at $ 73.44 a barrel, down 22 cents, or 0.3%.
