Gasoline and Diesel Prices Today: Gasoline and diesel prices were hiked in all four subways on Friday, June 18 to new all-time highs, according to Indian Oil Corporation. In Delhi, gasoline prices were increased by 27 paise from Rs 96.66 per liter to Rs 96.93 per liter and diesel prices were increased by 28 paise from Rs 87.41 per liter to 87, Rs 69 per liter. In Mumbai, the revised gasoline and diesel prices are Rs 103.08 per liter and Rs 95.14 per liter, respectively. Fuel rates vary from state to state due to value added tax. Meanwhile, gasoline prices are above Rs 107 and diesel has passed the Rs 100 mark in Rewa in Madhya Pradesh.

The state-run oil marketing companies – Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum align heating oil rates with those of world crude oil prices taking into account any changes in exchange rates. Any change in fuel prices is implemented from 6 am every day.
Meanwhile, crude oil prices fell nearly 2% from their highest level in years on June 17, as the dollar strengthened after the US Federal Reserve signaled it could increase interest rates from 2023.
Brent futures fell $ 1.31, or 1.8%, to $ 73.08 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 1.11 $, or 1.5%, to come to $ 71.04.
