Crawford & Company has launched a dedicated Japan office in Bangkok, to support the growing presence of Japanese companies in Thailand and the rest of the South East Asia region.
The Japanese office will be headed by Tetsuya Fujita, director of the company’s Japanese business unit, a statement from Crawford said. The facility will help Japanese businesses in the region access the full suite of Crawford’s claims management services for large and complex risks, including property, business disruption, construction, liability and cybersecurity. .
This move, said Crawford, demonstrates its unwavering commitment to meeting the needs of its customers, through its âOne Crawfordâ approach. The desk will bring together its operations in Japan and Thailand, represented respectively by CEOs Mamoru Tanouchi and Patipan Soodarram.
According to Tanouchi, the new facility will be able to connect all parties – the carrier, the broker and the insured – and allow for faster resolution of claims.
“At Crawford, we are constantly striving to find new ways to connect with our customers to ensure we provide an exceptional level of service and achieve our goal of restoring and improving lives, businesses and communities.” said Veronica Grigg (photo), president, Asia, Crawford & Company. âWith the creation of our Japan Desk, we are providing this local presence while providing access to our global capabilities to support the efficient and transparent management of each complaint. “
